Lorry Park and Visitors Car Parking
When you enter our premises you will drive up past our house and you are asked to follow the one-way direction signs taking you around the front of our stable block and outbuildings. The road extends around these buildings and you will then enter our large hard standing lorry park area. When you leave the lorry park you follow the signage and exit around the back of the outbuildings and stable block, from which you will then join up with the main entrance road.
Access to the visitors car park is made by driving down between the designated road barrier cones through the lorry park to the separately designated visitors car park as clearly sign posted. Once the car park is full then overspill car parking is provided in our field adjacent to the Picnic area.
The lorry park is equipped with high level flood lighting, stand pipe water points and both waste bins and recycle bins. Wheelbarrows and shovels etc. are provided for removal of droppings and we ask that all our guests respect the tidyness of the premises and ensure they clean up after their horses (or dogs).
We ask that NO HAYNETS are left outside their lorries or trailers to ensure the hard standing is kept clean and tidy.
Once you have tacked up your horse, you go across to the ‘Riders Way’ designated path, which will take you to the outdoor arena and the main entrance to the indoor arena.
Pedestrian access to the outdoor arena is via a pedestrian gate located to the right of the ‘Riders Way’ path from which there are two outdoor seats. Grooms and other competent persons can walk up the ‘Riders Way’ with their riders and horses to access both arena’s if required.
All stewards will be wearing a green tabard with Home Farm Equestrian Centre printed on the back. First Aiders will have a logo on their tabard designating their qualification.
Please note that Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dogs are welcome at any time, but kept on a lead at all times.
