  Please be aware that due to Jill currently being very ill, we have not been able to produce a schedule for our evening dressage competition to be held on Wednesday 14th May.  However, we hope to correct this situation shortly but we provide details below for competitors assistance. You can simply enter by clicking on the below ‘Online Entry’ tab and calling us to pay by card or go to our download tab and print off a dressage entry form and send it to us with a cheque by Saturday 10th May.   Our evening competition includes the following tests and is likely to start from approx 6.00 pm (subject to times being confirmed):     Class 1: Walk & Trot Intro A/B – Pic & Mix   Class 2: Prelim 7 / 13 – Pic & Mix   Class 3: Novice 24 / 34 – Pic & Mix

Please could everyone be aware of an error we have made on our paper copies on our April Programme. Our next Unaffiliated Show Jumping Competition which will be a Hartpury College Qualifier  including prize money will be held on Sunday 20th April and NOT Saturday 19th April as printed on the circulated programmes. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We look forward to seeing you all on the correct day!!  

Just to advise competitors who intend to enter our Team Quest Competition on Sunday 30th March that the closing date for entering this competition is Thursday 20th March. We look forward to seeing the teams for this competition with their colour matching team colours!!  

We are pleased to now confirm that the tests we will be running for our first BD ‘Team Quest’ competition on the 30th March are now provided along with the British Dressage ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Entry Form’ for entering Team Quest Competitions. British Dressage have announced the launch of their new ‘Team Quest’ competitions which are aimed at novice riders who are riding at Intro, Prelim and Novice competition tests in a fun and relaxed environment.  Teams of three or four riders (friends, colleagues etc.) will ride as individuals across the three test levels (any combination) and the best three scores count towards an overall total; highest percentage wins the day.  There will be three catagories for teams; 16 yrs and under, 25 years and under and mixed riders of any age. The rules will be more relaxed and teams can have their own colours and names as required. We

Regrettably due to the extremely windy and wet conditions today, and in the interest of competitors safety, we have decided to cancel our unaffiliated dressage competition this evening. Though our venue is fully operational and our flood defenses are working correctly we are mindful of competitors travelling to us and strong wind and rain is forecast until after 7.00 pm tonight. For all the competitors who have entered the competition tonight we offer the following options regarding your entry fees:   .1 All entries paid by cheque will simply be ripped up after Monday 17th February unless we hear from you requesting us to transfer your entry to another forthcoming dressage competition. Our next unaffiliated dressage competitions will be held on Saturday 22nd February (Hartpury College Qualifier) and 19th March for evening dressage (Cricklands Qualifier). .2 All cash entries will be held pending instruction from the competitor .3 Entries made

They are a versatile, hardy breed of riding horse with the added bonus of extra gaits. Most horses walk, trot, canter/gallop. Icelandic’s can also Tolt (a smooth gait that can be done between walk and canter pace) and some can do flying pace as well! This event is new to the Icelandic community and it is essentially dressage for Icelandics with the participants being scored on how harmoniously they ride (much like in BD or as per the 7 scales of training). The main difference is that the tests are performed in Tolt which is unique to Icelandics (so sadly to take part you need to ride one)! We are pleased to offer a course of jumps for hire on the Friday before Clear Round Jumping on the first Saturday of the Month from 3.00 pm until 10.00 pm. Our hire rates remain the same as 2013 at £20 / hr for 2 horses with an extra £5 per horse.  

We are pleased to now offer Clear Round Jumping from 9.00 am until approx 12.00 Noon with last tickets sold around 11.30 am, on Saturday 1st February, 1st March and the 12th April 2014. The Jumps will be at varying heights to suit riders ability throughout the morning, though there will be grouping of jump heights depending on riders requests while attending.  Entries on the day and the cost is £3.50 / round. We will open our kitchen as a trial for our first event only on Saturday 1st February. If it is popular then we will continue to offer this service. The arena is then available for hire from approx 1.00 pm to 10.00 pm with the course of jumps laid out. Our hourly hire rate is £20 / hr for 2 riders with an additional £5 / hr for each additional rider.
