We are pleased to now confirm that the tests we will be running for our first BD ‘Team Quest’ competition on the 30th March are now provided along with the British Dressage ‘Registration Form’ and ‘Entry Form’ for entering Team Quest Competitions. British Dressage have announced the launch of their new ‘Team Quest’ competitions which are aimed at novice riders who are riding at Intro, Prelim and Novice competition tests in a fun and relaxed environment.  Teams of three or four riders (friends, colleagues etc.) will ride as individuals across the three test levels (any combination) and the best three scores count towards an overall total; highest percentage wins the day.  There will be three catagories for teams; 16 yrs and under, 25 years and under and mixed riders of any age. Regrettably due to the extremely windy and wet conditions today, and in the interest of competitors safety, we have decided to cancel our unaffiliated dressage competition this evening. Though our venue is fully operational and our flood defenses are working correctly we are mindful of competitors travelling to us and strong wind and rain is forecast until after 7.00 pm tonight. For all the competitors who have entered the competition tonight we offer the following options regarding your entry fees:   .1 All entries paid by cheque will simply be ripped up after Monday 17th February unless we hear from you requesting us to transfer your entry to another forthcoming dressage competition. Our next unaffiliated dressage competitions will be held on Saturday 22nd February (Hartpury College Qualifier) and 19th March for evening dressage (Cricklands Qualifier). .2 All cash entries will be held pending instruction from the competitor .3 Entries made

They are a versatile, hardy breed of riding horse with the added bonus of extra gaits. Most horses walk, trot, canter/gallop. Icelandic’s can also Tolt (a smooth gait that can be done between walk and canter pace) and some can do flying pace as well! This event is new to the Icelandic community and it is essentially dressage for Icelandics with the participants being scored on how harmoniously they ride (much like in BD or as per the 7 scales of training). The main difference is that the tests are performed in Tolt which is unique to Icelandics (so sadly to take part you need to ride one)! We are pleased to offer a course of jumps for hire on the Friday before Clear Round Jumping on the first Saturday of the Month from 3.00 pm until 10.00 pm. Our hire rates remain the same as 2013 at £20 / hr for 2 horses with an extra £5 per horse.

New Clear Round Jumping to commence from Saturday 1st February 2014, once a month.

We are pleased to now offer Clear Round Jumping from 9.00 am until approx 12.00 Noon with last tickets sold around 11.30 am, on Saturday 1st February, 1st March and the 12th April 2014. The Jumps will be at varying heights to suit riders ability throughout the morning, though there will be grouping of jump heights depending on riders requests while attending.  Entries on the day and the cost is £3.50 / round. We will open our kitchen as a trial for our first event only on Saturday 1st February. If it is popular then we will continue to offer this service. The arena is then available for hire from approx 1.00 pm to 10.00 pm with the course of jumps laid out. Our hourly hire rate is £20 / hr for 2 riders with an additional £5 / hr for each additional rider.

Hello Everyone Just so you are all aware we are running our popular Annual Anniversary Competitions for both Unaffiliated Dressage & Unaffiliated Show Jumping on the weekend of the 25th (Dressage) and 26th (Show Jumping) January 2014.  We have now completed our schedules and provide these below. We will be offering a trophy for winners of these classes in celebration of our anniversary. Competitors attending our dressage and Show jumping competitions 30th November and 1st December – Note Highway closure!

For competitors travelling to our venue for our weekend competitions on the 30th November and 1st December we have been informed by the Highway Authority that you will NOT be able to access Hyde Lane this weekend from the GE Aviation Traffic lights on the A435 Evesham / Cheltenham Road.  Access must be from Kingsditch Lane onto Wymans Lane approach. We received have now received an update from Mr C Riley from Gloucestershire Highway Authority under their incident No 908138, that they have modifyed their work programme to ensure access is maintained throughout Saturday 30th November as long as vehicles are approaching Hyde Lane from the West via Wymans Lane and under the railway bridge. However, Sunday is not guaranteed in the morning at all times and competitors may have to turn left before the railway bridge on Hyde Lane, and go into Swindon Village along Church Road. Follow this

With Christmas nearly apon us we provide schedules below for our Two Christmas Show Jumping Competitions to be held on Sunday 1st December where Pony & Rider can wear ‘Safe’ Xmas fancy dress. We start the Children’s competition at 9.30 am and hope to start the Adult / Open show jumping competition from 1.00 pm (approx).  Our schedules for these two competitions are provided below: NEW HEIGHTS Children’s Jumping Schedule & point System for Sept_-_Dec_2013 1.12.13 Adult Xmas Show Jumping Schedule 2013   Please note that the adults classes include ‘PAIRS’ which add to the fun of the competitions. As we are an approved venue by British Dressage for hosting able bodied competitions, we are also approved for hosting Para rider competitions. This Saturday (9.11.13) we are running both competitions and we are pleased to advise that we have received entries for the Para classes from some Olympic and a World class rider, so if you want to come and watch the competition in our fully furnished viewing gallery just call in. The Para classes should be running from approx 12.30 pm until approximately 5.00 pm. Hope to see a few of you!
