Competitors attending our dressage and Show jumping competitions 30th November and 1st December – Note Highway closure!

For competitors travelling to our venue for our weekend competitions on the 30th November and 1st December we have been informed by the Highway Authority that you will NOT be able to access Hyde Lane this weekend from the GE Aviation Traffic lights on the A435 Evesham / Cheltenham Road.  Access must be from Kingsditch Lane onto Wymans Lane approach.

We received have now received an update from Mr C Riley from Gloucestershire Highway Authority under their incident No 908138, that they have modifyed their work programme to ensure access is maintained throughout Saturday 30th November as long as vehicles are approaching Hyde Lane from the West via Wymans Lane and under the railway bridge.

However, Sunday is not guaranteed in the morning at all times and competitors may have to turn left before the railway bridge on Hyde Lane, and go into Swindon Village along Church Road. Follow this road for a short distance and turn right onto Quat Goose Lane. Follow the road and on the right (just past the bus stop) you will approach Brockhampton Lane. Turn onto the lane and follow the road over the railway line. As you sweep around to the right you will see our turning on the left to take you around to the estate.

If Hyde Lane does get closed at any time on Sunday morning we will be sending someone up to check progress at the Brockhampton Lane / Hyde Lane with the Highway Authority to establish their progress and when opened, we will advise all competitors on our tanoy system that they can leave our premises in the normal way to get onto Hyde Lane. Access will not be available to the GE Aviation lights and onto the A435 Evesham / Cheltenham Road.

Please ensure competitors leave some extra time time while travelling.

We attach an extract from our direction routes for further assistance.
